Technology

I agree that we need to be taught how to use certain technologies, but they should have their own specific classes for it or something of the sort. Some technologies are effective when teaching, but not all. Some technologies can just be utterly useless to the classroom.
Some students are more technology inclined, but not all. Some people just don't have the resources to be that way and some just don't really want the technology. I have known some people that are so technologically inept that it's sad.
I really don't know if I would be able to learn better if there were more technologies. As I said before, some are effective and others can do nothing for me.

The Importance of Honesty

Honesty is important to me, but not exactly essential at times. When it comes to things such as school assignments, I find that it is extremely important for one to be honest. At other times, it can hurt feelings. That is when lying is almost unavoidable if you don't want to hurt someones feelings. However, that doesn't mean that it's right to lie to someone to make them feel better about themselves.
There have been times when I may have been a little too honest to someone about how I felt about them, making it so that whenever I was around them, I would feel guilty about being a little too rude to them. It can be very hard to be honest, yet all too easy.

The End of the World

If the world was ending, what would be the point of going to the grocery store and getting one item of food? We'd all die anyways. But, for the sake of completing this assignment, I shall humor you.
Now, if I had to get only one item from the grocery store, I would probably grab a giant box of goldfish crackers. If you're going to die, might as well eat something really unhealthy that tastes good, right? I would probably eat it over time and I wouldn't share with anyone in my family because they have their own food. Chances are, I'd die before I finished the gold fish because, let's be honest, there's a lot of goldfish crackers in those boxes.

The Power of Persuasion

If I had the Power of Persuasion, I would most likely want to use it for good, but I question my ability to not be corrupted and use it for what ever I wanted.
The Power of Persuasion is really the ability to persuade someone to do something for your benefit, or if you're feeling particulary charitable, the benefit of others. However, being able to persuade anyone isn't exactly the best thing because you could persuade someone to do something terrible to others.

Mistborn

The last book that I read was Mistborn: the Hero of Ages. It is the third and final book in its series. It continues on with the story of Vin and Elend Venture, along with the remaining old crew members of Kelseir's gang. In the previous book, Vin had accidentally released the force called Ruin, thinking that she was doing it for the greater good because Ruin had tricked everyone. In the Hero of Ages, Ruin has the intention of destroying their world, for it was created to be destroyed. Vin must find a way to help save the world before Ruin is able to destroy everything.

There really wouldn't change anything in this book. I think that it is one of the best books that I have ever read. The complexity and the creativity of the book has me floored. This book is five-star material.

Ultimate Winter Break

If I could do anything for Winter Break... Well, for starters it would be awesome to be able to go to Disneyland in California for a few days and then just stay in Southern California for about a week. Winter in California is much more appealing than staying in Utah with the frigid cold and the snow.
Then, I would love to go to England and see the sights and visit people I know there.
