My thoughts on Shakespeare

I find Shakespeare somewhat a drag. The way it is written is difficult to understand unless you actually study it and for the most part, it's just plain boring if you're not into it.

I was once in a school production of Shakespeare's play, "Macbeth" and it was absolutely dreadful. The lines were extremely long and difficult to understand and we didn't study the play -- We just memorized our lines and went on with it. Mind you, this production was just last year.

Although I may have had quite a few very boring experiences with Shakespeare's work, that doesn't make it all bad. I did once study the play, "The Merchant of Venice" and it was very interesting. We went into depth in the story line, which made it remotely interesting.
